Hey everybody! Eastbourne Extreme 2010 is confirmed and I'm in the process of organising our part in it, such as scaffolding set up and the like.
This year may be a little different as we have another group taking part called Danger of Death. That's aswell as InMotion like last year!
The dates are Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of July, not sure on times yet but I'll keep you posted. If it's anything like previous years, the scaffolding will be set up a couple of days before that so we can get down there and play around with it and sort out our display.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Yeah!!! Awesome guys!
I have been working on some new design tweaks for this year so hopefully if we can get the extra scaffolding it should be great! I have had to make the decision on my own though, because I spoke to Everol (Eastbourne council) today and he has said that time is short and that I had to put forward some designs. I thought that we'd be meeting up with InMotion to discuss the plans but Everol didn't get back to us, so sorry to InMotion that we couldn't come up with something together but hopefully you'll like what I can sort out... If I can sort it out, but either way we have got the scaffolding that we had last year for sure, no cars I'm afraid though.
Blaze
24-06-2010, 09:45 PM
Awesome man, Im fine with that for one, I probably couldnt have helped as much anyway, But hopefully it looks good :) Im personally fine about the cars aswell though, it sounds like itll be an amazing Extreme this year :)
Sounds good, would be easier without cars :)

So as this is my first time coming to eastbourne extreme can someone tell what is gonna be there? except for scaffolding :)
Blaze
25-06-2010, 04:37 PM
Well as far as I know man what weve got is scaffolding, and apparently we have some gym equipment like the air track or a few crash mats and stuff, but thats all I know
Im assuming it will be like last years one (shown in the video), but better and bigger - and without the cars. And as Blazey said, with an airtrack and crashmats - which will take up quite a bit of room.

01-07-2010, 03:08 PM
Nicely put man, thanks! Not sure if we're gonna be able to get the extra scaffolding I was hoping for but I'll have a word with the scaffolders on the day and see if we can add some bars and the like to it!
Blaze
01-07-2010, 04:12 PM
Sounds cool to me Kurt, I personally dont mind if we do or dont get the extra scaffolding but at least we get scaffolding :) well done all the same for setting it up man
Kurt Jobling
02-07-2010, 12:41 PM
Great news guys!!! We are getting the extra scaffolding! If all goes to plan it is gonna be great fun!
One little down side is that we cannot get hold of a PA system, so that means we can't play our own music and use a mic... I'm working on sorting something out but if anyone has any suggestions let me know!

To all Accreds: do you have a white US t-shirt?
Blaze
05-07-2010, 03:27 PM
I dont have a white US shirt but I can buy a plain white shirt if its required
Kurt Jobling
05-07-2010, 04:13 PM
Yeah, I think it would be good if we all have matching colours so that people know who the members are. So if everyone could get a white top and black trousers that would be great!
Blaze
05-07-2010, 05:46 PM
Okay, i should be able to get a white top and black trousers by then man

06-07-2010, 10:27 AM
Not sure weather we'll be having a youth display or not yet, I have to have a word with Matt Lehane. So if all youth could come in white tops and black bottoms and turn up to the training days and we shall let you know if you'll be doing a display.
So training days are Wednesday 14th, Thursday 15th and Friday 16th. If you can make all of them great! But don't feel bad if you can't make them all, would be good to make at least one though so that you can play around with the new set up and put together a piece.

Ill be fine practising on the set up and not performing on the day, but can i still come to watch on the day?

06-07-2010, 05:02 PM
Ohh just realised im gonna be at school for these dates, so could you post the times of the practises please? :D
Blaze
06-07-2010, 05:08 PM
I should be able to make the first two or even all 3 days since I have nothing planned then, but I might not turn up on friday because if I did, Id be too tired for the first day of Extreme lol
Cant make it at all on wednesday as im seeing a knee specialist and i have something else to do. Other days are alright though. This year is gonna rock !!!
One thing did come across my mind, that is possible youth members skiving school for the practice sessions on the weekdays. What would be done about that as skiving school isnt the best thing to do, whatever is going on.
Kurt Jobling
07-07-2010, 11:50 AM
To all the younger members, I would not reccomend skipping school to practice in the week because it will make the group and Parkour in general look bad, stay in school! You will still have like 3 hours to train everyday after school because we don't have to lock up the scaffolding until 7pm!
Everyone is welcome to come and watch at the weekend and youth, once I have spoken to Shin you may even be performing!
Times for the weekend are:
Saturday 09.30am/10.00am - 7.00pm
Sunday 09.30am/10.00am - 5.00pm
I'll let you know what time we should turn up for the training days when I know.
Sounds good :) No train works either over the weekend. Weather should be warm and sunny too :D

Do we know what the times of the performances are throughout the day man? Or do we find out next weekend?
Also, what times is it for the training days ?
Kurt Jobling
13-07-2010, 12:25 AM
I am waiting on the actually performance times but we'll most likely have 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.
Training days are:
Wednesday 9am - 7pm.
Thursday 10am - 7pm.
Friday 10am - 7pm.
